School performance
Ofsted
Following an ungraded inspection in April 2023, the school has remained ‘good’ with ‘marked improvements’. This means that during the inspection there was enough evidence of improved performance to suggest that the school could be judged outstanding if OFSTED were to have carried out a graded (section 5) inspection at that time. The school's next inspection will be a graded inspection and should be carried out within the next 1-2 years.
Key findings from the inspection:
- Pupils are thriving in this ambitious and inclusive school.
- Teachers promise and deliver ‘a learning adventure with kindness’
- Pupils show compassion and respect every day. They are passionate that everyone is equal, and nobody is left out.
- There is a happy and purposeful atmosphere in every classroom.
- There is an important role for everyone, so every pupil can make a difference.
- Pupils’ achievements are exceptional in this school.
- Every subject is planned well with the essential knowledge and skills identified.
- The togetherness at this school is helping pupils to flourish and achieve great success.

SIAMS
SIAMS stands for the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools.
As a Church of England Voluntary Aided school we can expect to be inspected at least every 5 years.
We were visited on 10th July 2019.
The overall judgement was excellent in all 3 areas.

The government will not publish KS2 school level data for the 2021 to 2022 academic year. They have archived data from the 2018 to 2019 academic year because they recognise that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.
